In addition to our vast experience in the Healthcare Industry, the St. Paul Computer Center Advanced Network Division has core competencies in some of the enterprises’ most challenging and advanced network technologies. Starting in 1998, the Advanced Network Division added Network Infrastructure and Security Products and Services to St. Paul’s extensive offerings. Knowing strategic partnerships were key, St. Paul became partnered with the industry’s leading Information Technology software and hardware vendors.
Beginning with Axent Technologies (now operating as Symantec), St. Paul found themselves certified resellers and support providers of the Raptor Firewall and Power VPN Server. The Axent NetProwler, Intruder Alert Intrusion Detection Systems, and the NetRecon Network Vulnerability Assessment Scanner certifications would lead to a Star Partnership with Axent. This would be the beginning of certified partnerships. In the months that followed, St. Paul added certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat Linux, Netscreen Firewalls, and most recently eIQnetworks, Castle Rock Computing, and Symantec.
Product knowledge is not the only thing required in vendor certification. Vendors require extensive knowledge, and successful assessment examination of company staff members. St. Paul employs a staff with a total of fourteen prominent vendor certifications including: Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Design Professions, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems Developer, and various professional Symantec certifications. These certifications can only be obtained with the right mix of book learning, intense training, and real world experience.
In December of 2003, it was determined there was a need to distinguish the St. Paul Computer Center Advanced Network Division from St. Paul’s Healthcare Industry area of business in order to remove client confusion and provide better customer service. And so, announcing its creation in January of 2004, the St. Paul Computer Center Advanced Network Division has officially become Exater!
